Worth every penny!!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I had a hand-held massager for years and it finally gave out and so I hoped to buy one that equaled the old one. I had no idea what to look for so first bought a Conair which was a waste of time and money--I think a toy may have worked better than that one. I sent it back and did a more thorough job of reading the reviews. Everyone seemed quite happy with this Wahl model so I ordered it. It is everything I hoped for as my neck and shoulders get tight from sitting at my computer and I love the heat that comes through the metal attachment. My daughter, a postal supervisor and mother of both a 3 year old and a teenager, gets very tight muscles in the neck and shoulders and she loves my massager so I'll be ordering another one in a couple of months for her birthday!!

my new best friend lol
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I got this because I was taking scalding hot showers and snuggling a heating pad every night to try to combat neck and shoulder pain. It has 8 attachments: the broad heat-conducting metal pad, one for your face, kneading muscles, scalp, knuckles/joints, deep tissue, general/cone-shaped, and the last is labeled "spot application." I think the packaging people must have had a laugh at that last one. I know I did. In any case, the reasons I am so elated to have been recommended this unit is because it's battery-free and has two levels of massage. I have found the first level great for my face, scalp, and around my feet (they're very ticklish, so I'm working my way up), and the intense, deeper pulse is perfect for the stubborn ache around the back of my neck and shoulders, as well as thighs and calf muscles after a long walk. I have been trying the different attachments everywhere and on everyone I know like a little kid at Christmas lol They don't seem to mind. I have to say that I am a much less crabby person with most of that chronic neck and shoulder pain rapidly dissipating. I can literally lean back and it feels like I am a small animal being lifted by the scruff of its neck and taken to safety by its mother when I've got the heat attachment or deep tissue attachment on level 2 on the back of my neck, so I can only imagine it is doing wonders for my circulation everywhere else as well. Sounds so utterly corny, but that is the truth! This was such a "steal," as well! As for the other personal uses, well, I'm sure it's just as versatile everywhere lol

I don't like it
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
Even by using the High Switch, I could only get lukewarm instead of warm. And from the outward appearance, it's a rough one. I returned it.
