  1. absolutely addictive
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
The trick to using this unit comfortably is two fold: 1. Sit in a chair that places your legs in a good position height wise; 2. Alter the angle of the unit and its distance from the chair until the calfs and feet feel properly massaged. If you don’t, it can be downright uncomfortable. After taking a few trys at getting the right chair with the right angle, this unit became the most addictively wonderful piece of equipment we have ever purchased. It has a couple of settings and a 15 minute timer. My legs feel wonderful and I have a spring in my step after sitting with my feet and calfs in this unit for a half an hour. It is very relaxing and energizing at the same time. I love this massager and use it every day and recommend it highly. I see that some other reviewers have posted that they are uncomfortable when using it but it is truly a function of the chair you sit in, the distance of the unit from your chair and the setting chosen for the angle of the unit (it is adjustable). I strongly recommend taking the time to make those adjustments before settling down for a long massage. Once those things are adjusted for comfort, it is a very nice and comfortable massage.

  2. Diesel’s review was right
    Rating:1 out of 5 stars
I had the same dissappointing experience and I’m only 5’4″.

I was hoping it would provide as good of a massage as the new shiatsu back massagers do.

It didn’t. It only massaged my ankles and the outside sides of my feet.Nothing for the soles of my feet or my calves.

  3. Foot Massager That Doesn’t Massage Feet
    Rating:1 out of 5 stars
This product was a huge disappointment. I bought it for my wife for Christmas, only to find when taking it out of the box and using it for the first time that this “Foot and Calf” massager doesn’t actually massage the soles of the feet. I can only chalk this up to deceptive marketing, since Human Touch, the product manufacturer, advertises this product on the website with the tagline “Soothe your soles”.

When first using the massager, my wife commented that not only wasn’t it doing anything on the bottoms of her feet, but it felt more like it was pinching her ankles than actually rubbing her feet. When I tried it out, it didn’t feel much like pinching, but it was barely rubbing the sides of my feet, and doing nothing along the bottoms.

I called Human Touch to confirm if what we were experiencing was normal operation. The customer service person informed me that it was, and that they made no models that massaged the sole of the foot.

Personally, when I think of massaging someone’s feet, the first thought that comes to mind is rubbing the soles of the foot, not the sides or ankles. I felt little to no benefit in the areas that the massager did

make contact with the feet. And for the $300+ price tag that this model commands, an ankle massage just wasn’t worth it.

To it’s credit, I could see the calf massage being quite soothing. However, I’m quite tall (6’8″), and my calves didn’t get into the unit to a point where the massaging points made any contact with my calves. Instead, it ended up being more of an Achille’s massage.

A 1-star review is generous, in my opinion, for a product that doesn’t do what it’s name states (or it’s marketing implies). I had very high hopes for this product based on the glowing reviews, but in the end, I walked away incredibly dissatisfied with the purchase. It’s already been returned.

  4. Fantastic!
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I already owned the iJoy3 massage chair and it works better with an ottoman so you can keep your back in position. I decided to buy the matching Ottoman and it is a perfect match, I don’t think the pictures do it justice. As far as a leg and foot massage it is fantastic! It firmly works your feet and legs with three settings and leaves you feeling wonderful. The tilt is infinitely adjustable and lockable. The only negative thing I would say about this unit is that you must lean forward to reach the controls. Some similar units have a remote which would be more convenient.

  5. awesome relief

This product was every thing I hoped it to be. It is a part of my daily routine when ever I have a few extra minutes to relax and believe me when you own this item you will always find those few extra minutes.
