It had obviously been returned before as it did not work properly. The unit did not heat up as advertised. Also, the box was torn and had been taped, and the cord not wrapped as it would have been new. I guess you get what you pay for.... Beware

Most massagers don't even address the arch - the balls of my feet don't hurt and all seem to focus on the heel. If I had the money trust me I'd buy the $300 foot and calf massager - For the money this one is pretty darn good. One of the better foot massagers I own.
